Mountain Valley Guides has three locations for great Hudson River Kayaking. Our base of operations is located in Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY located just 14 miles north of Bear Mt.
We also offer kayak tours from our Hastings-on-Hudson location. Hastings is located in Westchester County and can be easily reached by Metro North (Hudson Line). Our launch site is only a 3 minute walk from the train station.
New for 2016 - Mountain Valley Guides will be running tours from the Newburgh Waterfront in Newburgh NY.

All of our kayak tours include gear, kayak, instruction and guide. There are no hidden costs. Mountain Valley Guides will celebrate our 14th year on the river this Summer. Join us on our FAMOUS Sandbar BBQ or a sunset paddle or a paddle to Bannermans Island or the Palisades Cliffs. So many tours to choose from so we went and added new tours for this year including Dennings Point and our soon to be famous Paddle & Pints from the Newburgh Waterfront. This small calm lake is perfect for Introduction to Kayaking Classes, KICKS (Kids in Colorful Kayaks), Family Kayaking and kayak rentals.
